Problem Solving

Why can’t I send or receive MMS?

It’s possible you don’t have the correct settings for your phone.

Before inputting the settings below – check all of the usual suspects:

  • Have you enough credit to send the MMS?
  • Is the message too big to send? (In most cases your phone will warn you about this and resize the image for you.) The maximum size of MMS you can send is 300KB.
  • Are you trying to send an international MMS ? Unfortunately we don’t currently support this service.
  • Have you enough room on your phone to receive the message? An MMS will come through like a standard text, if you’ve too many text messages in your inbox, the MMS won’t be able to come through.
  • Is data enabled on your phone? (If it’s not MMS won’t work).
  • Is it only one person you can’t send/receive MMS from? It’s possible either party may have accidentally barred the other number from receiving communication. You can test this by trying to send/receive an MMS with another number.
  • Check your settings:
