I received a Meteor SIM, what now?
Pop on to www.meteor.ie/movetometeor and you can schedule your move across.
Pay As You Go numbers will transfer within 2 hours Monday to Friday 9am-7pm. Bill Pay numbers with only one number on the account will transfer within 8 hours Monday to Friday 9am-7pm. Bill Pay numbers with more than one number on the account will transfer within 24 hours Monday - Friday.
Pay As You Go customers: Unfortunately it’s not possible to transfer Pay As You Go credit/promotions from one network to another. As soon as you leave your current network, any credit you had will disappear. If you have any contacts stored on your old provider’s SIM we recommend transferring them to your handset and backing them up online.
Bill Pay customers: Any balances owing on your account with your previous provider must be clear before moving over to Meteor. Otherwise the transaction will be rejected
If you want to continue using your old provider’s handset you may need to get it unlocked.
