How do I buy a pass for my stick device?

 

Buying a pass is really easy.

You can either buy your pass through your modem’s software, or through the ‘Broadband To Go’ homepage (which automatically loads when you open a browser after topping up). Alternatively, you can choose to browse without a pass. See more about that below.

Follow our step by step guide below on how to buy a pass:

Through your broadband to go software

Step 1: Go to the ‘Top Up’ tab and select ‘Buy 30 Day Pass’:

Step 2: Click ‘Yes’ to continue:

Step 3: You’ll receive an SMS to confirm your pass

That’s it - you now have your pass. Please disconnect and reconnect your internet in the ‘connection’ tab to complete the process.

*If you are using an older version of our software – you won’t see the screens above. To buy a 30 day pass through your modem, simply go into the ‘text’ tab. Then type in ’30 day’ and send this to 50104.

You’ll then receive an SMS to confirm your pass. Simply disconnect and reconnect your internet in the ‘connection’ tab to complete the process.

Online through the Broadband To Go homepage

The handy thing about buying a pass through this path is that you will be automatically directed to this page if you haven’t bought a pass after topping up through your modem’s software.

You can choose to buy any of our passes or select the option to ‘browse without a pass’. This means that you would be charged at standard rates (which are 2c/MB). This is best suited for someone who just wants to check or send an email or browse for a short period of time. The ‘browse without a pass’ option is available on all of our mobile broadband devices.

Step 1: Top up and open a web browser, you will then be directed to the ‘Broadband To Go’ homepage.

You may need to refresh the browser for this page to appear.

Step 2:  Choose the pass required or ‘browse without a pass’ and click ‘Select’:

Step 3:  If you’ve bought a pass, you’ll then receive an SMS to confirm your purchase

That’s it - you’ve bought your pass. Please disconnect and reconnect your internet in the ‘connection’ tab to complete the process.
