How do Add-Ons work?

All of our Bill Pay plans include loads of minutes, texts and data every month, however we realise everyone uses their phones differently. That's why we have created a range of great value reoccurring and once-off Add-Ons that can save you money.

Add-Ons give you extra minutes, texts or data to use at a discounted rate on your account. When you sign up to a reoccurring Add-On it reactivates on your account every month unless you cancel it.

If you need a once off boost of data, then our once off 30 day data Add-Ons are perfect for you. These Add-Ons will boost your data on a once off basis. They will expire in 30 days or upon the limit being reached – whichever comes first.  To see all of our available Add-Ons click here.

When is an Add-On applied to my account and how am I charged?

Add-Ons will activate within 24 hours of sign up.

Re-occurring Add-Ons:  We’ll charge you a pro-rata charge between the time of activation up until your bill day where you’ll then pay for your Add-On one month in advance.

Once off 30 day data Add-Ons: Will be added onto your next billing date, as you receive the full allowance there will be no pro-rata charges.

How do I cancel an Add-On?

The easiest way to cancel an Add-On is on your MyMeteor account. Or you can send the opt out keyword for your Add-On to 50104.

The cancellation of an Add-On will come into effect on your next bill date. It is important to send your cancellation request at least 3 days before your bill run date or it won’t be possible to guarantee cancellation on your next bill otherwise.

Once off 30 day data Add-Ons do not need to be cancelled as they are a once off Add-On. They will expire in 30 days or whenever the limit has been used – whichever comes first.

Changing an Add-On

If you change your Add-On (within type e.g. moving from one data Add-On to another outside of your plan), we’ll credit you back anything you didn’t get to use on your next bill day. There’ll also be a pro-rata charge between the day your new Add-On activates (which is usually within 24 hours) and your bill day, and the charge for your new Add-On for the month ahead.

Add-ons give you extra data, minutes or texts to use in addition to what is included in your offer. When you sign up to an Add-On it reactivates on your account every 30 days.  We’ll remind you to have your credit ready on your account, if you miss this reminder your Add-On will activate the next time you top up. When is an Add-On applied to my account and how am I charged?

Add-Ons will activate within 24 hours of sign up. The credit will be taken from your account to pay for your chosen Add-On, and your account will be charged every 30 days to keep your Add-On active. 

Changing/Cancelling an Add-On

You will not keep the allocation of your previous Add-On if you change in the middle of your 30 days.
